What do you have that will help me sleep?

There are a variety of ways to tackle sleep issues with CBD. You definitely want to take something systemically. The first option is smoking hemp flower. This is the fastest method to get CBD in your bloodstream. The next option is a tincture under your tongue, which offers you infinite dosing and works in about 20 minutes. After that is capsules or gummies, which take about an hour to go through your digestive system, but are the most convenient.
We do have some products specifically targeted to sleep as well. We have a few different gummie options with CBD and melatonin (Luce farm, Sunset Lake, and Upstate Elevator Supply Company). We also have some tinctures and a gummy with CBN, which is a cannabinoid that has been shown to be more sedating than CBD (Vermont Farmacy, Ropana, and Sunset Lake). Lastly we have an alcohol based tincture with not only CBD but a whole list of botanicals that all help with relaxation and sleep (Z-Botanicals).

What do you suggest for back pain?

This can be tackled with either a topical or a systemic product, or as many people choose, both. Any of our topical products will provide relief so you should just choose the one that appeals to you. For a systemic product, you might consider a combination of CBD/CBG. CBG is a cannabinoid that has been shown to be effective on inflammation, which is often the root cause of back pain. We have tinctures from Ropana, Hunger Mountain Hemp, and Method Organics, or capsules from Lily Hill or Upstate Elevator Supply Company that are all good options.

What is best for arthritis?

A combination of CBD and arnica, which has traditionally been used to treat arthritis, is a great way to relieve arthritic pain topically. Some options include Lily Hill, Hillside Botanicals, Good Body Products, or The Healing Rose.

What's the difference between tinctures, capsules, and gummies?

Tinctures go under your tongue and enter your bloodstream sublingually. They work in about 20 minutes and offer infinite dosing in that you can adjust your dosage based on your body’s needs. Capsules and gummies go through your digestive system and work in about an hour. They are the most convenient but you are also locked into a specific dosage. A gummie has the added sugar but can also be cut in half if you wanted to adjust dosage. The end result with any of these will essentially be the same.

What is CBG?

CBG stands for cannabigerol. It has been shown to be good for inflammation as well as an antimicrobial. On its own it tends to be less sedating than CBD, but many people report that the combination of CBD/CBG helps them sleep.

What should I get to help my dog/cat?

Since cats and dogs are mammals, their bodies get similar benefits from CBD. The general rule is 1mg of CBD per 10 pounds of animal. We have treats from 1mg to 7mgs and tinctures that offer you the benefit of any dosing that works for your pet. Many people use CBD for their pets for things like visits to the vet or groomer, fireworks, car rides, or aching joints from injuries or old age.

Will CBD show up on a drug test?

Full spectrum CBD products can contain 0.3% THC, and it is possible to show up on a drug test. We do offer tinctures and gummies made with CBD isolate, which is the isolated CBD molecule with zero THC. Those will not show up on a drug test. Some tincture options come from ropan or Z-Botanicals and the gummies from Upstate Elevator Supply Company and Sunset Lake CBD are THC free.

Will smoking hemp get me high?

No. There is under 0.3% THC in hemp flower. It will probably give you a relaxed or calming feeling and can potentially help with pain.

Why would I smoke hemp?

Many people use hemp to quit tobacco. Smoking is also the quickest way to get CBD into your bloodstream, which can be helpful if anxiety attacks is an issue. Some people like the act of smoking cannabis but don’t like the high that comes with THC and hemp can allow them to enjoy cannabis without that high.
