We love to visit our hemp farmers in the fall just before harvest time. The plants are beautiful and there is excitement in the air (as well as wonderful aromas) as everyone readies for just the right time to harvest.

Hunger Mountain Hemp is located in the northeast kingdom town of Orleans, VT and is the creation of Ross and Justin. These two old friends partnered up to buy a beautiful former dairy farm to grow their hemp. Their fields are spread out over multiple acres and are best seen via a four wheel vehicle. The gently rolling hills provide the perfect backdrop for their plants.

They grew Suver Haze and Lifter this year, which we have found to be some of the strains producing the highest percentage of CBD. Some of the flowers were just turning that beautiful plum color.

We were intrigued by their brand new piece of trimming equipment meant to help them harvest the plants prior to processing.
