I have been buying CBD salve (10,000 mg/4 oz coconut oil) from the Hempicurean for several years now, mostly for lower back pain. I had surgery to remove my trapezium bone of my thumb 2 years ago which typically involved a fair amount of post surgical pain and rehab. My orthopedic surgeon was amazed at my initial recovery and the much reduced time for rehab. I used the salve pretty much right away after the surgery instead of the opioid meds he prescribed. I had tried many other lower concentrations of the salve to no effect. I believe that the CBD concentration needs to be at least somewhere between 5-10000 mg per 4 oz of oil. The current salve under review was developed by Scott at the Hempicurean with MCT oil which is derived from coconut oil...at half the price of the other brands. I discovered a couple of years ago that adding THC further enhances the pain relief. I would also note that Scott has been awesome w his customer service. He answers my questions via emails, and as other providers of hi potency salves have gone under, he has risen to the occasion and now makes this product which is superior to previous salves - and again, for half the price. Thank you Scott!!! Note: At the tender age of 76, arthritis is creeping into my hips knees and shoulders and I use this as needed for providing relief that lasts for hours.
